刀鍛冶という“言語”を世界へ。

The “Language” of Swordsmithing to the World

Swordsmithing, the sword, is a “language.”
It is a universal means of conveying technique and spirit, embedded in the very form of the sword, transcending eras and borders.
It is about the “meaning of creation,” the “spirit of forging,” and the fact that “the process of creation itself is beautiful.”
Despite cultural differences, the techniques and spirit of the creator can be communicated through the form, beyond time and country.
Driven by this belief, we conduct live demonstrations, lectures, and hands-on experience programs both domestically and internationally.

Main Implementation Formats
(Past Experience)

  • ● Japanese sword forging classes in Toronto, Canada
  • ● Public Japanese sword forging demonstrations in three locations near Lyon, France
  • ● Three-month stay in the World Heritage site Citadel of Besançon, France for production and cultural introduction
  • ● Short sword forging classes in Canada and the U.S.
  • ● Sword forging demonstrations and workshops for the public at the Sekigahara event
  • ● Lectures in the International Japanese Course at Aichi Bunkyo University
(Upon request, we can also conduct special workshops and productions using local iron, including reproducing the forge, reverse forging, etc.)

Our goal is not just to showcase techniques, but to engage with the deeper questions: "What is a sword?" and "What does it mean to inherit techniques?" We aim to create meaningful time that addresses these questions.

Process of Implementation

  1. Inquiries can be made via email or through the website
  2. We will propose a structure based on the content, duration, and purpose
  3. A quote will be provided, including travel, accommodation, and workshop compensation fees
  4. After the decision is made, we proceed with local adjustments and content design
